Both Kathryn & Gio were riding at this year’s Tattersalls. Kathryn & Let It Bee contested the CCI3*, after their disappointing slip on wet grass at Badminton.
Eighth after dressage, Kathryn picked up 10 cross country time penalties during a foot perfect round, but a single rail down dropped her to 11th.
Gio & Stilo Kontika climbed in the other direction in the CIC3*, moving from 18th after dressage to 11th with a show jumping clear, and finally to 8th with the addition of 4.4 time penalties. Things didn’t go so well for Cult Rewind who picked up two refusals across country.
In the CCI1* Linus V gave Kathryn a lovely clear across country, home inside the time to finish mid field. Duke of Champion then put in a similar performance for Gio in the Young Horse CCI1*, clear inside the time but frustratingly having the first fence in the show jumping down.
