Sadly the Rio dream did not work out as planned. Kathryn & Let It Bee scored 49.4 for their dressage test, to lie in 41st place at the end of the first phase – and best of the Canadians.
Sadly the wheels fell off on cross country day, and the pair did not complete the very challenging and influential course. As they posted on their Facebook page: “Not the day we hoped for yesterday but all safe & well, it’s a tough sport!! Still a lot to be proud of for Bee & Kathryn this year. Big thanks to everyone that helped us get this far & our sponsors for continued support. Bee will now have a well deserved holiday.”
