It was mixed fortunes for Giovanni & Kathryn at Farley Hall.
Duke of Champion made amends for an expensive show jumping round in an open intermediate section by giving Gio a good clear across country.
Unfortunately the showjumping continued to be Gio’s nemesis – he and Note Worthy suffered an unscheduled parting of the ways, disappointing after an excellent 26.4 dressage score.
Kathryn barely had a better day. Brookpark Momentum also brought the coloured poles down before jumping clear inside the time round the intermediate cross country track. However, she also ended up on the deck, this time on the novice cross country track, falling from Cloud K.
