Gio had a successful day at Gatcombe. Both Note Worthy and Duke of Champion jumped double clears in their open intermediate sections, Note Worthy having also posted a smart dressage score of 23.9.
Keeping his foot slightly off the accelerator, cross country time penalties cost Gio the win, but he held on to second place.
Unfortunately both of Kathryn’s entries were balloted.
