Gio went to the final running of Gatcombe Horse Trials last weekend. Kiltown Madison put in a foot perfect performance to finish on her 23.3 dressage score, third in a novice section.
Duke of Champion was also in the ribbons, eighth in an open intermediate, adding just a rail down and cross country time penalties to his first phase score.
Gio’s third ride, Swirly Temptress, posted the best dressage score of the team, 27.5, but the show jumping phase proved expensive. Fortunately she redeemed herself with a clear cross country round in the intermediate.
