Last week I was at Hartpury with Tiko, for his last run before the Europeans, Hero and Loon in the CCI**.
Tiko was a bit tense in his test but still earnt a good score of 53 before jumping a steady double clear.
Hero got a bit carried away with the atmosphere in the main arena and his test was not great – he scored a 55, but he redeemed himself the day after on the cross country and jumped a nice clear inside the time. He was a bit tired yesterday and had two poles down in the show jumping.
Loon was good in his test but the judges didn’t give him the marks that I thought he deserved, so his score was only 54. We then had a really unlucky fall in the water on the cross country. He jumped in really well but lost his footing on landing. A real shame because he was flying until then. Never mind, this is horses!!!!!!!!!!!
