Giovanni was part of the Italian Nations Cup Team at Houghton, riding Lark About.
The pair did a solid dressage test and had just one rail down, but unfortunately – after a cracking season together so far – there was a parting of the ways at the coffin on the cross country.
Gio also had Kimbal in the 2*L. He posted a dressage score of 30.8, jumped clear easily inside the time across country, and lowered a single pole on the final day. It was a really exciting performance for the future.
Duke of Champions also went along for some Bramham prep and worked well all week jumping a couple of show jumping classes.
