It was a truly disappointing end to Kathryn and Bee’s Badminton 2017. After a good dressage test which scored 44.4 for 17th place, they were storming round the cross country.
Jumping out of the Lake, which necessitated a sharp turn right straight after landing from the final element, Bee’s hind legs slipped on the wet grass and Kathryn hit the deck.
Seriously bad luck, and neither Kathryn nor Bee deserved that.
Fortunately both are fine, and will be back to fight another day.
