Gio and Kathryn’s season kicked off last weekend with trips to both Oasby and Tweseldown.
The more experienced horses went to Tweseldown, Lark About winning the intermediate for Gio with a great double clear. Cloud K was also double clear but a little slower across country finishing seventh for Kathryn.
In an open intermediate class Swirly Temptress did a great dressage but rolled a pole in the showjumping, Gio only taking him steadily across country. Finally Duke of Champions just missed out on a top 10 placing, double clear but again with Gio’s foot off the accelerator.
At Oasby Kimbal started strongly with the runner up spot in an BE100Open while Cash Points Promise took third in a novice and Alvescot Flash The Cash ran steadily, all three horses ridden by Gio.
