Duke of Champion gave Gio a great birthday present, finishing fourth in the Seven Year Old Championships at Osberton. He was foot perfect throughout, finishing on his 45.2 dressage score.
Gio had already withdrawn Swirly Temptress from the five-year-old class; she did not appreciate the heavy going in the show jumping. Dukes Sunny Boy also picked up jumping penalties in the six-year-olds, making Duke of Champion very much the star of the yard.
