Gio and Kathryn’s 2015 season finally kicked off with a trip to Somerley Park. On the lorry were Cooley and Tiko for the intermediate, Bee for the CIC2* and Saetta for the novice.
Kathryn and Cooley did a nice test to score 27, rolled one unlucky pole in the show jumping and then had a lovely and steady clear cross country to start the season on a good note.
Bee was quite excited in the dressage (it didn’t help that it was just by the xc warm up), but jumped really well in the show jumping, rolling one pole, and again did a nice and steady clear cross country.
Gio was riding Tiko in the OI and he was awesome; 28 dressage and a steady double clear to kick off the season.
However, Saetta was the star of the event! He did an amazing dressage test to score 19 and jumped a lovely steady double clear to finish 2nd in his section.
