Giovanni had a successful first outing onboard Kiltown Madison – the pair took the runner up spot in a BE100 section courtesy of a 26.8 dressage, one showjumping pole down and clear cross country round inside the optimum time.
Kathryn, meanwhile, was riding Belline Diamondswatch and No Rush One in the 5-year-old class. Belline Diamondswatch was clear inside the time across country but lowered a couple of show jumps, while No Rush One showjumped clear but picked up penalties across country.
